Becoming an Outdoors-Woman wouldn't be where it is today without all of our generous Sponsors and Volunteers. There are many ways you can help support the BOW program.

If you're planning on attending a workshop, shoot the coordinator an email to let her know that you'd like to help and see if there's anything you can do.

Material Contributions

At our Fall, Summer and Winter workshops we have a silent auction and a raffle to raise money for BOW Workshop scholarships. In the past our raffles have included kayaks, snowshoes, outdoor clothing, tools, and other high quality brand new outdoors themed items. In addition, those attending the workshop have an opportunity to contribute to the silent auction. The silent auction always includes a larger variety of items of all kinds.  Auction items must be valued at $25+ to be included.

Financial Sponsorship

Words cannot express our appreciation of all of the generous donors who keep the BOW program going and fund scholarships for some women to experience BOW for the first time through their financial contributions.

Support our Sponsors

We have many generous sponsors that continuously give to the program including businesses and individuals. When you do businesses with or interact with these organizations and individuals, please let them know that you appreciate that they support Becoming an Outdoors-Woman. After a BOW event, if you've had a great experience feel free to write thank-you notes to one or several of our sponsors for helping make your experience possible.

Spread the Word

Help us connect with more women. Tell your family and friends about BOW. Link to us on your blog. Submit your workshop experience to your local newspaper. In order to fulfill our mission of giving women the opportunity to learn outdoors skills, we have to let as many women as possible know that the opportunity exists.

By making a contribution, you are endorsing a program that provides women the opportunity to:

  • Learn activities that they’ve never tried

  • Improve beginner level skills

  • Enjoy the camaraderie of like-minded individuals

  • Become wiser users of conservation – the wise use and management of all our natural resources

Donations help to provide scholarships for ladies that are financially unable to pay full registration fees and cover additional costs such as; workshop supplies, equipment purchases, etc.

Donations can be made online or by check.

Note: You do not need a PayPal account to donate.
